According to Crain’s Real Estate Daily, the international real estate group, Sudler Sotheby, is suing to evict the brokerage firm from the historic Palmolive Building on Michigan Ave for $371,000 in unpaid rents.

With the acquisition of Wyeth, Pfizer stated they will no longer require their Malvern office space in East Whiteland in Philadelphia. The lease on the 529,000 square feet of space is set to expire in the middle of next year. Wyeth has yet to decide whether or not they are going to re-lease or sell the buildings.

The firm has been planning a $500 million investment program, targeting Class A office space in the top submarkets in California.

Preferred Offices Buys Synergy Workplaces

D.C.-based suites provider, Preferred Offices, has officially acquired New York-based Synergy Workplaces. The value of the August transaction has not yet been disclosed, but the acquisition expands Preferred Offices’ reach from 220,000 s quare feet in the Washington area, to 500,000 square feet nationwide, according to Washington Business Journal.
