The UK's largest online office broking company has expanded into the US market.

officebroker.com, based in the Midlands, UK has opened an office in the Carrollton business district of Dallas, TX – the business capital of the USA and home to the some of the world’s largest corporate headquarters.

Within months of setting up operations the company has already secured major office-space contracts with several global giants, including global talent management solutions provider, Stepstone, who took an exclusive office space in New York’s Empire State Building.

Turnover for the first financial year is projected at $600,000 which added to the UK’s sales will create Group turnover of around £3.5m ($7.03m).

Founded in 2001 by Birmingham born entrepreneurs Jim Venables and Andy Haywood, officebroker.com has doubled its sales year on year. It is now the largest online web broker for both business center operators and SME’s & corporate businesses requiring executive suite space.

Commenting on the move to America, Jim Venables said: “Our mission is to become ‘the global place to find your office space’ and US business centers and clients are responding well to our fast and sales orientated approach.

“The American market is quite set in its ways and our first hurdle was to convince our staff of a different way of doing things. We have built on their existing dedication to customer service to add an additional element which is more dynamic and progressive and – they seem to be loving it!”
